The assembly of timber houses or other types of structure, especially walls and floors, may require temporary support, to be removed once the final fastening is complete.

GIRAFFE is mainly used in the assembly of CLT timber houses, but can also be used effectively in any other type of timber construction. GIR6000 is a longer version that offers a practical and safe support to be used even in case of distant elements extending up to two storeys. If the installation of an CLT panel or other type of timber element requires temporary support, GIRAFFE is the ideal solution.

Fields of use

GIRAFFE is used as a temporary support for CLT assembly, but also for framing elements, prefabricated timber, glulam supports and pillars and more.

Available sizes

GIRAFFE is available in 4 versions with different lengths from 220 to 600 cm, to guarantee support even for elements that extend up to two storeys. GIR3000 (equipped with automatic stop, for even faster and more precise adjustment) and GIR4000 are made of zinc plated steel; GIR2200 and GIR6000 in extruded aluminium.

Transport

Thanks to the GIRHOLDER transport element, up to 10 assembly supports can be easily and neatly packed and transported. GIRAFFE, the assembly support for timber elements that extends from 2,20 to 6,0 metres.
